Me and the Mrs tried out a Restaurant we hadnt been to before, a small family run Bangladeshi one, Ruby Spice.
The staff were excellent and friendly, food was really delicious, one of the best Ive had.
We had onion bhaji, seekh kebab for starters, both very very nice indeed.
For mains we had-
Sahi Royal Jalfrezi - "Cooked in a clay oven in a thick tangy sauce cooked with a handful of fresh green chillies, lemon juice & capsicum"
Bangalore Jalfrezi - "Sliced chicken breast cooked with mince meat, fresh garlic, ginger, pepper, green chillies & egg"
Excellent curries, cant wait to try others from here now.
Anyway I got talking to one of the family that run it, had a good chat, he was interested in my curry cooking and chilli knowledge, and we exchanged facebook details, got to see the chefs cooking for 5 minutes, all done on very high heat/flame, it was a very enjoyable night.
Who knows might get to see them cooking some more, see what happens.
