Copperware care
« on: April 12, 2015, 08:23 PM »
Inspired by curryhell I bought myself a Balti bucket with hammered copper finish. Took a while but it just showed up. (see:

Just wondering how to clean and care for it, as I assume they're not dishwasher safe?

Sverige
Hot soapy water, rinse and dry - nothing special

if you want to keep the copper shiny, use a bit metal polish.

cheers Chewy

Lemon juice or weak citric acid bath will put a shine back on tarnished copper.

Thanks for the tip Livo, tried it today and they came up a treat. I've read online tomato ketchup works too.
