Thanks for the info.

I'll steer clear of that particular site.

RCR - A complete money making scam providing information from this site that is all available for free on here. I notice there are members from there that are always logging on gathering info  but never posting  >:(

Bit of a sweeping statement madrasandy. Have you any proof to back any of it up?
I see forums like pubs, you pop in have a pint. Sometimes you have a chat sometimes you don't. Sometimes you move on to the next pub. You may go for months drinking in your favourite pubs and never talk to anyone, is that a problem?

And do you have any proof that they don't, ;)
This cannot be verified neither one way or the other

I know for a fact that a senior member of Rcr trawls this site but doesn't contribute

And I well suspect that the OP is just trying to generate interest in the site and drum up business like others have just recently. This whole thread should be deleted IMO

Is there anything wrong with that?
Forums are either private or public. This ones public.
Anyone can pop in and have a look around what's wrong with that?
I just hate the them and us thing.

Rule 7, Terms and Conditions.

7.  You will not reproduce or disseminate any material found on this Forum, on any other Forum, or on any other media without the written permission of the Owner of this Forum

That should be clear enough to anyone including members from other sites.

I respectfully disagree.  "cawsandcook" had the courtesy to sign himself with his real name (John), something I would not expect an agent provocateur to do.

Actually Livo
That was the reason i came off RCR - it was always bugging me for passwords which was irritating to say the least - not being able to just log in.
As far as the paying for membership goes that can be taken both ways - it restricts all recipes for members only - which is not a bad thing.

In all honesty i have found this site CRO to be the best on the net - for info - and the bunch on here are OK  some very good chefs and some very enthusiastic cooks.

As far as senior members of RCR keep checking in here on CRO - you will find that those members are members here also and dont post anymore - for their own personal reasons to which i have been privy to knowing and respect that. They have made a considerable impact in the world of bir and 3 forums to which I have been and still are a member of........

There has been many a word spoken.... which should not deviate from the knowledge gained for all over the years.

Lets hope they keep checking in and eventually return to post on this site -

best, Rich
