Recall this is from Julian's first book.  Think he's also done a Pakistani gravy, from Julian's second book.  Essential reading I might add.

Not much! He doesn't even have the common sense or decency to introduce himself, to explain where he's coming from, and where the recipe is from.

The 'about' section on his channel says he has a "simple philosophy about food and this is always alluded to in my videos - It should be tasty and simple to prepare."

That's a real disincentive for me, i.e. to dismiss anything which is not 'simple'.
