A quick late supper
« on: November 03, 2014, 02:00 AM »
Sylheti Murgh Chatrak

A quick supper, a tasty chicken and mushroom curry
cooked BIR style with authentic Bangladeshi flavours.
50/50 Mustard and Veg Oil infused with Cardamom, Tej Patta, and Cassia.
S. onions, my fresh green chilli paste, par-cooked chicken and spiced mushrooms.
The sauce is flavoured with Naga oil and Shatkora pickle.

I like the idea of chips instead of rice. Do you find using mustard oil to be more BIR tasting than veg oil alone chewy?

You should try Bombay Potato or Aloo Chaat.

Agreed, I do enjoy chips with curry now and again. Indian comfort food at its best.  :)
