4 curries
« on: October 25, 2014, 11:20 AM »
Here is a picture of 4 curries I cooked in one session using the same base and all with chicken tikka, because I love it. Left to right they are Jalfrezi, Samba, Passanda and Korma.

Nice curries there mate. Never heard of a Samba, what's in it?  Or is it just named after the dance you did as you cooked it?

Thanks. I think I got the name wrong, it's meant to be Sambar, which I used to get in my local T/A. but it was a mixed Veg Sambar. Very similar to a Dhansak, with lentils but without the sweetness. It was quite tasty and I thought about doing a Samba afterwards but decided against it. I guess being married to a Brazilian it was inevitable I would get the name wrong.
