Car Air-Fresheners/Fragrances
« on: October 16, 2014, 02:09 PM »
Bear with me here, guys and gals.

My current car fragrance, hanging from the rear view mirror, is a Drumstick scent. Those of us of a certain age will remember those little Drumstick chewy lollipops. I believe there are also Refreshers and even Parma Violets (God I'm getting old) :)

Made me think of a marketing opportunity for curry-related car scents. What could be better, than getting in to your car and having the fragrance from a base sauce. Do you know that smell you get in the house when you have cooked a base, then left it to cool, and it leaves a subtle, but detectable, smell throughout the whole area. Or you have cooked a particular curry which has the same effect.

How nice would it be to get into your car on Monday morning and be reminded of the taste and smell of the curry you so enjoyed over the weekend.

There are so many fragrances for cars....pine, bouquet, new car, lemon, vanilla, Swizzles, to name but a few...but no curry.

I think there is a great opportunity here folks, and may even go on Dragons Den.

Anyone like to join me on the Funny Farm?

No, Garp.  There's room on the farm for only one complete and utter nutter, and you have that place well and truly stitched up!

Thanks Phil....I did at least expect you to consider the financial benefits from such a project.

But I guess you're out :(
