To be fair the WFO when finished will be all enclosed and heavily insulated with a 2inch insulating blanket then it will be boxed in up to the ceiling and filled with vermiculite
So a fire should not come from there I hope

When you wrote "wood-burning oven", Michael, did you realise that it is usual to place the wood to be burned into the special fire-cavity part of the oven rather than simply being attached in OSB-sheet form to the back ?

Thankyou Phil
I actually don't like the look of the board and probably clad with a different wood
That will make it more combustible ;D

Looks safe enough to me Michael. If that's Kingspan on the inside, that's got good fire loadiing and if you're plaster boarding and skimming, there's more fire resistance. As for the smoke detector, it'll drive you insane in there. Keep us up to date with photos and especially ones of your inaugural cook out.

How about polished plaster ? I have a friend in Oz who runs his own
polished plaster business
out there; I am sure he would welcome a trip back home to the Old Country to give your outhouse the finish it deserves ...

Actually My first cook could be this weekend
The Wfo's flu was fitted through the felted roof ( Flu double line and insulated to take the heat away from felt
)
In this state it is ready for pizza cooking then obviously once properly insulated heat can stay up to 24hrs they say then you can bake and slow cook
So you might get a picture this weekend and hopefully not a picture of the kitchen in burning embers
the following day

Flock Wall paper michael, Flock wall paper.
@Phil
Many many years ago I used to wonder at the cost of the marble used in all the shopping centres in Britain until I hit it with an access platform and realised it was just polished plaster. I watched a company do a shop front once, amazing (but sad, I know).
