Shazan'z Birmingham

Finally got my car back on the road and checked this kebab house out yesterday based on a recommendation. The Bangladeshi chef has over 40 years experience. I went with Chicken madras, Quibani gosth, Tandoori garlic chilli chicken, peas pillau rice, and garlic coriander naan. Curries top notch. Old school madras (blew my socks off). Pics to follow. Amazing!

A few pics of the delicacies on offer.
Quibani gosth
Tandoori garlic chilli chicken
Chicken madras
All spicy dishes. The full-floc madras kicked like a mule. Gorgeous aromatics from the chef garam. I couldn't see the chef in the kitchen, but the reflection from the flames and noise indicated there was a right old inferno going on in there.

Forgot to say also tried the signature Sherpur donner kebab, in naan. All 850 g of it!
Rolled up again with the idea to making it go further.

why don't places like this give cooking lessons?
Old school madras as well
It's 74 miles away
Just a little too far, for a takeaway
