In a word - NO.  I tried several, searching for a restaurant run by a chef that used to run the Shama tandoori in Galway City.  Your own will be far superior to the majority of efforts you will find in Ireland I am sad to say.  However, i would recommend the Eastern Tandoori in Galway City.  Great phall and brilliant patalla which i based my recipe on, yet to be published on here

In that case, we need to meet for a game !  I am completely new to the sport, but have two matches this weekend and another next w/end, so definitely enjoying myself :)

Don't do it. My old man's been playing since the 80s (very good club and county player) since he an my mum retired they both basically play full-time, I don't even get a visit between April and October as they have too many games scheduled.

Bowls orphan I am.

Think we should start a new thread in the appropriate section, as this could be prolonged discussion and boring for most  ;D
