Me too. White Tower brand is what the takeaways use though.

The brand won't make a lot of difference.

When you're searching for small improvements it is well worth adopting a better brand.

I'd love to be able to use white tower as its the best ive tasted. I currently by 800g tins and freeze in small containers and use from frozen. Most from Asian stores are very good. It's the % tomato to go for.

In short the better brands have a sweetness not in the supermarket stuff. The difference in the final curry is small.

A lot of smalls build up.

Hi london

I use the regular supermarket double concentrated stuff. I dilute it 2:1 with water and make sure I cook it out well just prior to adding the spices

Mick,

Do you dilute before measuring. 2 parts water to 1 part tom puree?.
