Quick Dinner - Saag aloo
« on: March 13, 2014, 01:29 PM »
Made this for my dinner today (You may say lunch) and it was delicious. I used 3 tablespoons of chopped tinned toms instead of puree and boiled spuds in bit of mixed spice as I am out of Turmeric. I will be making it again.....maybe for tea as it was so nice :)

So wanting this now. But dentist tomorrow afternoon. Out of respect for the dent puller I have to forego the urge.

But tomorrow is another day.  ;D

Inspired by your good looking Saag Aloo Lou :D

I put together my Murgh Saagwalla for supper.
So basically a dry scorched Saag Aloo, added and combined into a Chicken Madras hot bhuna style curry.

cheers Chewy

That looks delish Chewy. I made the Saag aloo again for my mum and dads friday night takeaway tonight and the usual Chicken madras and H4ppy naans (same for me and the hubby). Never thought of mixing them up though but thats a great idea. Lou x  :)

Made this last night ( chewy madras version )
And I'm not easily impressed but what a beaut
This dish would impress any guest  8)
It was a dish that after all the hard work prepping you were rewarded with a nailed dish
So good I'm making it again tonight with a picture to come  hopefully before I scoff the lot
