Lasy year I tried to grow
Passiflora edulis
, using seeds from Morrison's 80p passion fruit. They sprouted without difficulty, and grew well in pots indoors, but when I moved the pots into the garden for the summer they barely did anything. They have not completely died back over the winter, and may well revive come spring, but I am not convinced that I will ever get edible fruit from them.
Incidentally, for the scientific-mind (and not for those of a queasy disposition), those seeds that were recovered after passing through the human gut were roughly twice as likely to germinate as those that were harvested straight from the fruit ...

I'll have to try the chilli, curry leaves and mustard seeds and I'll make sure I'm wearing a shirt.

This looks interesting and something even I should be able to get right.
Like Phil, I will have to get some fresh Curry Leaves.
What is the qty of Mustard Seeds? I don't see it in the recipe on page 1 or any subsequent comments...

1 tsp of mustard seeds, they go in the oil at the final cooking stage with the green chillies and sprig of curry leaves, cover the pan with a lid until they have finished popping. There are quite a few youtube videos on cooking the dish, watching them really helps.
A recipe to try
