I brought this pressure cooker this week and its already had plenty of use, id recommend it so far but time will tell... it is robust and well made so hopefully will last a few years and at ?23 quid its a steal

Just make sure you keep the receipt safe -- with Aldi, as with Lidl, "no recipt, no warranty".  Excellent value goods and excellent returns code, but very strict trading terms.  P.S.  Also check whether you have to register it with Prestige for the 2-year warranty -- it may only be one year w/o registration, as was the case with my more recent M-R 48822 soup maker.
