Yes I was at the curry-in-the-park meet and it was very pleasant.

I started a similar thread a few months back suggesting the Manchester curry mile, a couple of people were up for it, but I didn't get around to arranging anything.

Still up for it, especially if we can get access to the kitchen and see an expert at work!

I'm in, Sabzi Rogan Josh please!

I've been out on curry mile about 25 years ago (18 at the time).  Got one of the hottest possible at the 'Shezan' is it still there?

Asked before to see in the kitchen, not usually met with open arms....... ???

I will just refresh this thread for a week or so to see if there are any more who wish to join up for a curry
At the moment it looks very London based apart from you Bob  ;)
So well see how it goes and hopefully have a few more takers
PS it should be a great food fight  ;D

I'm in for any meet ups in Cambridge or Birmingham, given enough notice for me to book the flights at an acceptable price.

How's this going?  It's a great idea. If anyone's up for a Birmingham leg I'm thinking of a positively mind-blasting itinerary.

I'll have to pass on a Brummie Currie (too far and too expensive) but if anyone wants to follow up on this idea and arrange a curry night in either London or Kent, I would be up for that one (other commitments permitting).

Excellent! I'll put together an idea or two (or three) for Birmingham.  All within 3 miles of Birmingham New Street train station and Digbeth coach station.  I'll include a suggestion for an optional afternoon (light) lunch, for anyone who has the time, and would like to make more of a day of it. There's lots of curry-related things to see hereabouts.  I'll also bring my chef friend along who loves a chat about all things curry.  Evening meal.  As it's Birmingham I reckon a balti is a must-have.  I am thinking Kushi.
