Lovely idea mate but, 200 mile from me  :-\

Birmingham is actually about 100 miles from that dodgy takeaway of yours Chris.  ;D  Seriously though, great idea SL!  Obvious venues possibly would be London, Coventry, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, or Newcastle. I'm easy.  Perhaps see who's up for it and then pick somewhere based on where the majority would prefer.  Be nice to get Mick, Julian, and CA along as well.  Chewy and Phil must come.

Rob  :)

To be honest, I can't think of anything worse.

I mean, it's bad enough having to read some of the crap spouted by some of the people on here without having to sit and watch them spout it  :P

Come on Garp.  You're just still hurtin' because someone said one of your curries looked like corned dog, or something.  A thick skin is a must on forum.  Spot the banter.  Suggest somewhere nice for the meet-up now.  You know you want to.

Stay in London and I'll join you there

I'll be happy to meet you, Michael, Bob and anyone else who wants to come along, in London. Perhaps down Brick Lane - not that I've ever had a very memorable curry down there.

It's a good idea and simple enough to get off the ground. Several regional meetings might be easier to arrange than anyone travelling hundreds of miles.

Phil said "yes" some time back :
Stay in London and I'll join you there, or come to Kent and sample the local version of BIR ?
