Last night's effort:




Not my best madras by any means.  Not happy with the finish or colour and totally forget the Lea and Perrins. OK for a Monday I suppose.  Would have been reasonably happy parting with

Obviously can't tell the taste but looks spot on to me from that picture, well as good as and better than many recent Madras I have bought.

Lea and perrins sounds an interesting addition that I might try some time

Certainly looks the part.

I made a turkey tikka madras (Chewy's madras recipe), a few days ago.  Had an initial taste, wasn't quite as good as my previous efforts, but having let it rest for a few hours it was much better.  (btw I was using turkey instead of chicken as ASDA were selling turkey legs very cheaply.
