DIY Yogurt Maker
« on: May 23, 2013, 05:31 PM »
As I seem to get through never ending amounts of yogurt I bought an easiyo. So what I do now is when there is only a tbsp of yogurt left I dump it in the easiyo fill up with milk and leave overnight. Next morning I have 1L of fresh yogurt.

Top bit of kit.

Looks good, particularly as it makes 1 litre at a time.  May I ask if you have ever tried it with Greek-style yoghurt starter, and if so, whether the results were also Greek-style or just generic.   I ask because I have a nasty feeling that to achieve Greek-style (which I love) you need more than just the right strain of lactobacillus as culture ...

Don't you add sugar into your yogurt? Mine is always sour, the baby doesn't like it(
