This is really thin and quite large, but dead good for a seekh and hot yog sauce. Google is letting me down..

Anyone know a source ?

Turkish supermarket in Whetstone, north London have their own bakery. They make fantastic bread similar to the one youve shown. They're about 12-14" dia.

Other than that, take a look in the freezers in an Indian supermarket. The choice in the bigger places will give you a shock!  :P

I think i counted about 30 odd different brands and types of parathas, naans etc.. the last time i poked me head in.  ;)

When I can't be bothered to make my own chapatis I often use wholemeal khobez instead, and buy mine in quantity from Asian / Middle Eastern supermarkets whenever I come across them (they freeze well). Most of the brands stocked in these stores contain just flour, yeast, salt and water - none of the crap that you find in many commercial breads these days.

Some branches of Waitrose stock khobez, and I've seen it on odd occasions in Sainsbury's, but you can buy the Dina brand online here: http://www.realfoods.co.uk/product/24529/dina-medium-wholemeal-khobez-wraps-5pack.

Love these, you can find them in any Turkish/ middle-eastern supermarket. Try them with with kefta, red onion and some red pepper paste (Biber Salcasi), voila a Kebeb!

Splash the bread with water and put it in hot oven for a couple of minutes.
