I dont know what triggered it but i started thinking about Aloo Gobi.
I cant remember the last time i ate one and it was my favourite side dish!!!!!!
It must be over 10 years!
When i was a kid, the ONLY vegetables i would eat (potatoes dont count
) were my nans runner beans. Man, they were good
It wasn't until i first tasted aloo gobi at the age of 5 or 6 that i could now say that i ate two different vegetables, three, four, five . . . . . . ;D
It took me a few more years before i could stomach plain vegetables though, so Thank God for Curry!
Anyway, Its about time i tried one, but is it
really
just Bombay Aloo with cauliflower?
There are no recipes on the forum except for a link to the BE pages and a few trad recipes.
Cheers, Frank.

Well for me Bombay Aloo should be hot, though seldom is that the case these days. So on that basis, yes, Aloo Gobi is pretty much as you describe, potato and cauli together. Last time we had it, it reminded me simply of the two veg cooked out in base and spice mix.
