Over did the Tikka
« on: November 27, 2012, 02:40 PM »
Hi
Just Tikka'd 8'large breasts of chicken. Marinaded overnight and smelling great.mgrilledmin two batches but Imknow the first batch is over cooked. It is not burnt and tastes ok but I know also it is on the dry side.

Can i recover this to be succulent?  I won't  throw it cos I am far too tight but I know for sure the second batch will be much better. Intended for my first real attempt at CTM at specific request of phillistine son in law to be.

If they are in bite sized cubes place in your favourite curry sauce, make double the recipe with out adding the meat, then add the chicken tikka to cold sauce and reheat on low stirring every now and then. I have done this with a madras sauce and turned out fine.

Nice idea.. CTM has never really been my thing plus I have had to get almond and coconut powder etc but....... That said i do like to have a couple of spoonfuls. Just cannot manage the sweetness of a whole meal.
