Alright, so you have to pre-cook the peppers and onions :

. I always have red masala paste in the freezer and tamarind sauces in the cupboard, so not really.
For those who haven't tried the dish, it makes a pleasant change and is something different. I'm sure there must be very similar dishes available across BIR land, just probably under different names
