Cheers all.  No wonder i can't find that last 5%.  I've been looking in the wrong  place all the time ;D 
A very enjoyable supper with some curry and rice leftovers.  Not something I can simply pop in the post though Keith 

Had a look at the recipe and it looks a bit of a faff but have to give it a go.

Faffing indeed Garp  Alright, so you have to pre-cook the peppers and onions  :.  I always have red masala paste in the freezer and tamarind sauces in the cupboard, so not really.
For those who haven't tried the dish, it makes a pleasant change and is something different.  I'm sure there must be very similar dishes available across BIR land, just probably under different names

Dave, do you use the three Pataks pastes that are quoted in the recipe?. If so is it one tsp of each, or one tsp of the combined pastes?

I know it's painful, but it's one tsp of EACH paste.  No chance to explore  the alternatives.  As there is so little added to the dish, I really don't feel the need  You could of course use an alternative, making up your own, but obviously, it would result in a dish with a slightly different flavour.  Forgive me, i'm now beginning to sound like  a past member  ;D  Whatever, i hope you enjoy
