Hi made a patia last night but defrosted to much base. I have put the rest in the fridge is this going to be ok to use again and how long will it last in the fridge thanks.

At 5^oC, several days at least; I have been known to use refrigerated base that is three weeks old, but this should be taken as a fact rather than as advice ...

2 to 3 days, unless you've got dairy in it. no longer.

Thanks for the reply I still use your base Chewy its the closest to my favourite takeaway and makes great currys

If you are unable to tell the difference between a simple statement of fact and a pointless attempt at trolling, CT, perhaps you would do better to avoid commenting on others' posts entirely.

Due to the high amount of oil in the Taz base, it acts as a preservative and I have used this base for up to two weeks on many occasions without ill effect.

Why not just make another curry with your extra base and either scoff it there and then or freeze it?
