Thanks CurryHell, I did CA's Madras already and it hit the spot - just right, best Madras I've ever made. The only addition was my habit of adding methi leaves to everything...well the box is so big I want to use them   

Just can't resist a little sprinkling ;D.  I've just added a good pinch to my phall for after the pub

Heheh, glad it's not just me then! They just seem to melt in to the curry and make it 'right'...Phall after the pub sounds awesome...yet explosive!

...another lover of methi leaves here ... can't help adding them to everything  ;D

Not quite, brinjal bhaji
