Good morning curry lovers, I hope you all got everything that you wanted

Unfortunately, I fell for the old "oh, let's not get each other anything this year, we'll just spend it on the kids" chestnut   Only to wake up to a stack of prezzies from my better half

Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow

I didn't get the new bike that I wanted but that's ok, I got kerplunk, operation, monopoly and a brand new Action man ;D

got 75% of a beef vindaloo from last night in the fridge. gonna munch on that when I come home about midnight
ordered over fone last night. the chef actually answered the fone and said "do you know this is hot"
me being dumba$$ said "hell yeah.love it hot.the hotter the better!!"
methinks he thought to himself.."i'm gonna teach this dude a lesson"..coz when it arrived it was HOT.. much hotter than usual..a bit too hot in fact. thats why i only ate about a quarter of it
gonna give it another go tonight after I've had a few beers
spoke to the chef and asked him about his base gravy and curry "secrets"...he had a laugh and said "there is no secret"...Happy Christmas

Ah, Monopoly : played that last weekend when we had visitors, but we had only a German set : it is quite difficult when you are not sure whether a Chance/Community card (Gemeinschafts Feld / Ereignis Feld) says "Advance to ..." or "Go back to ...", or whether it says "Bank error in your favour ..." or "You owe bank ...".  Still, we got there in the end, and with three houses on the German equivalent of Mayfair and Park Lane (Grunewald and Insel Schwanenwerder), yours truly triumphed in the end

I know Phil, schoolboy error   I did however, buy her a sexy Mrs Claus outfit but she reckons that that, is a present for me.............................(she's right aswell )
