i make pathia with any base. UB's as jimmy2x says is very good. the ashoka is quite different (not like i've had in BIR for sure). it's very easy to do though and i've quite gelled with it.
recipe: oil, fine chopped onion 4 tbsp, medium chopped mix pepper 2 tbsp, fine chopped garlic or gg paste 1 tsp heaped, tom puree 1 tbsp, mix powder 1 tsp, salt 0.25 tsp, chilli 0.25tsp, aps 0.25tsp, base 300ml, pathis mix (1 htsp mango, 1 tsp tom sauce), fresh coriander
the amounts ie chilli etc u can adjust to suit yourself. also if the base has tomato in it reduce tom puree to 1 tsp.
