hi, all, can't beleive i've found this place, been searching for that elusive curry recipe for years (bir style) i think thats what you call it.
spent many an hour boiling onions and not what, only to throw it away because it tastes......well, not quite right shall we say and order a delivery.
can't wait to try all these recipes, the wife won't be happy, she prefers me to order (doesn't like the smell through the house)
till last week i was thinking of offering my local balti house ?50 quid if he would show me how to cook that basic sauce, i don't think i'll bother now,
how long has this site been going?
i'm allways searching curryhouse.com and familiar sites for that special one, but only came across this site by accident about an hour ago, wow, what a find.
if anyone can lead me to a great tried and tested recipe on here to start with, that would be great, tho i'm looking forward to just trying some of them anyway.
off now to plan my trip to my local asian groceries to stock up on yet more jars of spices.......yipee!!!!

Hi Phall (love the name )  welcome aboard. All the recipes are here and plenty of friendly folk to help and advise. So it all depends on what takes your fancy. happy cooking...

You will find plenty of curry bases and recipes in the recipes section.

By the way, why not still try and buy a recipe for curry base from your local balti house and post it here?  I'm sure everyone would welcome it!
