My story appears to be akin to many others on this site so I won't bore you all too much!

Love curry, even did a night school in Indian cuisine and culture. Tried for twenty odd years to make a decent 'restaurant taste' curry and can just about manage a close Korma for the wife but now hoping to perfect the Vindaloo for myself with the help of the experts on this site.

I have been very impressed with the content so far and look forward to trying some recipes.

Hi Sparky, yeah found this site mid last week and started to make my first "proper" curry Friday evening. I got lost in the cooking and before i knew it it was 11.30pm, i was so gutted i couldn't tuck in there and then but i did wait till the next day when it was finished off hehe.

You are correct Mike....the name is William (but only my Mum calls me that) and I used to be an electrician but now I help pilots to fly aircraft safely and 'flyingsparks' sounded a bit dramatic to me!
