Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Korma
« on: November 09, 2015, 10:27 PM »
I had one container of base sauce left in the freezer tonight and I really fancied a nice hot curry. Made myself a Vindaloo and a Korma for the OH. Went down very nice indeed.

The Vindaloo was made using a mix of dried red chillies, deggi mirch, kashmiri mirch and fresh green chillies. Using the different types really makes for a nice flavour for me. As for the Korma, well, it's just a Korma I guess.

SR, it looks like the vindaloo looks a bit different in the first two pics- or is that just the light?

Hi SR, Can I say after following a number of your posts you continue to produce some of the most authentic looking BIR curry on the forum. I even felt compelled to log in and comment on your goods being displayed(excellent)
A nice splash of cream on the corma would been visually stunning ;)
All three look stunning to me!  you are clearly skilled at what your doing so keep up the good work.

It's the same curry Onions, for some reason it does look much darker on the plate. That is more what it was like too.

Thanks for the compliments Naga and LC. I guess we all keep trying.

All the best

I have to agree with littlechillie, Rob - your curries look as if they have come straight from the T/A carton to the plate.....even better than a lot of places because yours have the benefit of less oil!!  Always love to see what you've been cooking.
Best
Al

Yes I must agree your curries all look top notch! One of my favourite curry recipes is your madras
I've made that one many times
