With considerable regret, yes, from moderating.  But I also agree with MA -- an resignation would allow George to surrender his moderator's baton with honour, and is therefore to be preferred.

No chance. Do you seek to change my personaility or want me to just go along with what everyone else thinks, in order to 'blend in'. Face facts George, you're not wanted as a moderator any longer. Its really pointless trying to deflect what the majority of posters are asking. Hatred filled footer you say  :o, it just proves that you are not really cut out for the job.

To the question of the thread topic. Simple answer is NO, or at least not because some may think he should be.  Only Admin can make that decision.
