Hello I have just come across this site, it's just what I am looking for,I have just started to make my own curry's from scratch and have just made my first batch of base gravy,it's nice to know if I have problems the members on this site could possibly point me in the right direction.

Welcome Rob.  There'll be no looking back now.  As SL said, most people on the site will only be too willing to try and help you out.  You'll not find  a better knowledge base on the subject of BIR on the net than this one.  Years of experience, discussions, experiments etc for you to read when you're tucking in to your latest creation  ;)
