I was recently thinking about growing a few chillies. Are there any that are easier to grow than others? My only effort in the past grew great chillis on the window sill but they then got infested with whitefly.

Cayenne is a good starter chilli, very useful in cooking, great to pickle, dries well so you can grind up your own powder.
Santa Fe Grande is nice and easy, lovely gratered with Cheese on toast.
Rocoto's have a kick and are juicy, pickle well, makes quite a big pod, stands a bit of colder climate better.

Kill all bugs as soon as you notice them, get something that sound like it would be bad for you if you drank it, none of that organic stuff that just annoys the bugs for a bit!
