Im not sure if this is off topic for this thread, but I have just ordered a load of kelp powder online as I was keen to try it. However, i am a little stuck for ideas with what to make with it! Is anyone into kelp/have any ideas what I can do with it? Any recipe suggestions?

I suppose it depends what you're buying! I tend to use a lot of coriander and cumin so just use online stores as its much cheaper to buy in bulk. It's always a gamble buying online but the ones I have had have been delish!

Sorry to hear that your chillies didn't take to your green house! I bought a part grown chilli plant and seems to be doing well on the windowsill! This is our first year growing chillis so any tips would be appreciated! Would really like this to work out as fresh chillis seem so expensive to buy in the shops and we only tend to use one now and again! However as I dont seem to be the most successful gardener we have bought a bag of cheap chilli powder in reserve!

Hi I am also growing chillis,

A few of you say that you are using your chillis straight from the freezer. How long will they last for in the freezer and is there a right time to freeze them?

Wow thats a lot of spices you have there! I totally agree with buying in bulk though you bet about about 5 times more than what you would be paying for in a supermarket! I like you idea of storing them in sandwich boxes to stay fresh. I get mine online from www.herbedup.com and they come in resealable bags so they stay very fresh, may borrow your idea and buy a few small tubs for my most used spices though. Its always handy to have some out on the kitchen counter!
