Hi CurrySecrets

Please can you elaborate what the 'corn' ingredient actually is in your Madras recipe?

http://currysecrets.com/madras.htm (http://currysecrets.com/madras.htm)

Thanks

You mean you don't put sweetcorn in your Madras Solar? Must be another of those regional things.

Actually, I prefer to dip the whole cob into the Madras sauce and have it that way  :P yummy :)

I thought only the queen was allowed to eat swans. I like your thinking though. Do you marinade it first?

It's not often that I feel impelled to write ROTFL, Chris, but this is definitely one of those occasions  ;D

Fantastic, what a revolutionary idea, selling spices online, who would have thought....

That reminds me, I saw Elvis down the curry house last night.
He'd just come back from partying with Lord Lucan on the Moon.

As he climbed into his 1955 pink cadiliac ufo he shouted "Hey Chewy, check out currysecrets.com, its an inspiration.
Maybe they could publish a recipe book, curry secrets would be a awesome title!

Just had a look at the Jal Frezi ???

No fresh green chillies, no peppers, no tomato quaters.  What am I meant to "stir Fry" (Jal Frezi) here?

I'm just a tad confused CS, as you claim to give us the secrets to restaurant style curries but to me, they look more like "traditional" style curries, with no base gravy?

Ray :)

Hmmm, just like putting potatoes in an onion bhaji (or cherries in a CTM) must be "a regional thing" Chris  ;)

Yes, yes he does...and you point is?  ;)

Presumably, you point is, that Chris' statement was sincere because someone, somewhere, is adding corn to their madras?  And who can argue with that, right?   :P

Absolutely HS, corn in your madras (if that's what he meant), potatoes in your bhaji, or cherries in your CTM....

I'd reckon on that being the case, too, Haldi
