Would anyone have a review on the quality of the pans/chef spoon/tawa that julian/curry2go store is selling?

Not seen / used his Tawa
The chef spoon is good heavy quality. Can be found online at

to those w/o a tandoor: Where do you put your skewers on to cook the meat?

For example, using the skewers that naga bought, if you were to place it in the oven, wouldn't the wooden handles burn too?

Mine go on large roasting tray under grill. They are suspended and are long enough that the handles are not under the heat.

Just polished off some (slightly over cooked) CA inspired beef and mushroom vindaloo leftovers on a butty (thick sliced white, with flora spread).  It was too good to throw away.  Mighty fine supper I must say!  Does anyone else on here do this kind of thing, on occasion? Highly recommended.

Regular occurrence in this house. Often never even gets reheated. Proper butter? What is wrong with a slathering of Ghee, touch of lard or even an accompanying handful of hot gravel?  ;)

Ok I have sussed it. It is since I earlier enabled quick reply on my account. The quick reply bar srpeads across what would be four pages owidth or so hence narrowing the test of the thread window. I have turned it off and everything is now back to normal.

Hey Frank, can you now join in and partner Rob?  ;)

Hi Stew. My settings were already set to English British. I have set it again and saved but the problem still persists.

Only started today and it happens in the wife's iPad as well as mine.

Normal forum page shows fine as does the page if I go into a board section. As soon as I go into any individual thread whether it be new or old, the page displays at about one fifth page width albeit full height. I have to zoom the page in and adjust it EVERY time to see it.

Anybody else found this on iPad?  Seems similar on iPhone too. Right pain. ftp://
