Thanks NJ

I've just bought a jar off ebay. $17 delivered. Can't wait to get it now. :o

Just a note, if any Aussies are going to try this. I couldn't find any balti paste at any spice shops, so instead I added about half a tsp of Ahmed kebab paste.

Any suggestions of whether any other paste would suit better would be welcomed. But as I said, it was a gorgeous curry anyway. 8)

i can't see me adding the garam but each to your own.

Interesting Jerry, I use it in every curry, just a pinch at the end. I know it is more "home cooking" style to do this, but I just can't help myself.

I'll definitely give this one a try real soon. The mogul we had last night was SUPERB!!

Just one question for those in the know, we can't get naga pickle down here, so would I just use chilli pickle instead, and maybe add some more chilli powder? Is this a real hot curry?

Ta folks!

Thanks again for another top vid Julian 8)

Can't be arsed with arguing. I'm here to cook curry.

So, it's Friday tea time in OZ. I've just cooked a Lamb jalfrezi, a chicken Vindaloo, Chewys pillau rice....... and this recipe too. We all know the Jalfrezi (Chewy) and vindaloo (CA) are excellent, and Chewys pillau rice is also great.

I cooked the mogul for the kids as a substitute to their normal Korma.  WOW it was beautiful. The only difference to the recipe was that i added a tbsp of sugar and a tsp or so of onion sauce. Very, very nice curry. The kids didn't get too much of it.  :D

Thanks for the vid Julian. 8)

Hi Fran

As Colin said, you won't go far wrong following CA (Cory Ander) recipes. His vindaloo is bang on.

Stick around and have fun! 8)

Thanks again Chewy for another amazing recipe.

I made six cups of rice, as we had friends round on Saturday night, so I used one onion, one bulb of garlic and one packet of mix.

Very, very nice indeed. 8)

Now that is my idea of heaven Jamie. It looks superb.

Naan bread and raita, doesn't get any better than that.

Well, being a Manc and used to having pineapple in a very mild lentilly sauce dhansak, I have to say that the pictures of the southerners dhansak look excellent.

I feel I MUST try this version and make a comparison. 8)
