This co. folded August 2014 - directors names Scott William Smith, Scott Timothy Rabin & Craig Alexander Stevens - only operated for 3 years - ccjs against them.   Another co. owned run by these - Vericare - also in liquidation.

Now 8 - a late sprouter - no sign of the other 2 germinating - 80% taking though isn't bad.

Have potted 7x on into clear plastic cups with poly bag fastened around tops to keep moisture in

now 7.

Seen an interesting youtube video where the guy puts his seeds between moist kitchen roll folded over placed in a poly bag then into warm area like an airing cupboard.  Checks show visually when the seed is sprouting - then pots into growing compost etc.  Takes about 2 weeks he reckoned this way - but takes the guesswork out of  'will they sprout / when or not?'

........... So that's the pedantic plonker whose site I backed off from after some fierce criticism directed at me there.

Doesn't look too clever at showing off the real practical skills necessary for bringing out the spice flavours nor is his 'dialogue' excellent inspirational. No doubt a legend in his own lunchtime.

Apart from the 'colouring' effect - I gather Asians use Tumeric for it's medicinal properties in curries

You're in the right part of the world petespot to tap into asian 'secrets' - but if my neighbours (Blackburn born Pakistani) food output tastewise is anything to go by - some of them are not worth knowing - apart from her samosas.  A meal with them is a bit like English food that is 'spiced up' - not something you would welcome served up in a restaurant.

I took them to a brilliant Nepalese one night ( Jai Kathmandu, Northenden) [ OK, I know they're Pakistani and Nepalese don't 'get on' - how I hate the tribal politics game].  They weren't exactly enthusiastic - merely saying it was 'certainly different'.

My 5 Apache plants are still going & look pretty good.  Gave one away to an old dear who expressed interest.  Just put 10x Super Chilli seeds in - fingers crossed they all come out ok
