Hi all Im new here I have done a bit of Indian cooking but not a lot.I have just started to make my first base gravy http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=2271.msg20262#msg20262 so will let you all know how I get on.

is sure to change now you've found this forum, all the info you need to produce high quality BIR food is here.

I would recommend you put a high priority on studying the techniques, timings, temperatures etc and the rest will follow.
