Like you, I thought CA meant some sort of compilation, rather than just his own recipes.

I still can't see why not. It seems like more and more people are climbing on the band wagon to publish their own eBooks. It's so easy compared to going via a publisher. So if CA wants to join in, then good luck, just as long as it's clearly CA's eBook rather than any kind of official cr0 publication.
