Hello all,

I joined your site yesterday and after a good look around I'm very impressed and looking forward to making some decent restaurant style curries. I'm not a chef and never worked in the catering trade so I don't have any knowledge to share with you on that front, I been cooking home style curries for the best part of twenty years now but looks like this site takes it to a different level.

Cheers from Ireland and thanks in advance.

Patrick

Welcome! You've certainly come to the right place, Patrick. There are tons of great recipes on this site. Feel free to ask questions - we're a friendly bunch (no, really)!  :)

Welcome to Cr0 Patrick
You will definitely find the difference between these curry's on here and the ones you have been doing at home, Advice, Don't give up if your first try goes haywire, you can only learn from doing, so best of luck, and get cooking ;D

Hi Vind Aloo,

Firstly let me welcome you to the forum :)
I, like you have never worked in the catering trade, but I have just ploughed along with all the POSITIVE advice given by lots of dedicated members on this site and over the past 5-6 years have perfected (for me) nearly every BIR dish I want. So as Hot stuff said previously, don't ever give up and just follow it until you have the dishes you desire to you're perfection :)

There are many on here who will help you through all this, and don't be put off by some of the negative inputs by some others......

Enjoy the forum and start producing some wonderful curries :)
