Yes, I think they are two spellings of the same word.  "Makhani" is the common spelling, and "Makhoni" is the uncommon one, but I think they mean the same thing (from Hindi "Makhan" = butter).

A visitor (a retired translator) who translates into and out of 45 languages !  I don't yet know of Korean is one of the 45.
