Bought my self a tandoori oven a couple of years ago from the tandoori clay oven company (PURI) because you cant replicate that tandoor taste without one. Take a look on the internet. Still trying getting use to it at the moment e.g getting the heat up to the required temperature, when to open and close the small door at the bottom etc. is a bit tricky. But starting to get the hang of it now I think. Plus filling nearly a third full charcoal is now helping me cook the food faster, and not coming out still raw inside. Some delicious recipes on here cant wait to try. Had a Sikh friend of mine come round and show me a authentic Indian recipe, we cooked it on a African stove of his, outside, because the pan we bought from a Indian shop is so large it doesn't fit on my stove, and done a whole lamp in it. It is absolutely lovely, and can do it ourselves now on our own. simple yet delicious recipe.

Funnily enough there's a link to the company on here in the members bit. Don't know what size mine is because its round my brothers, and I cant measure it. But they only had one size when I bought mine, but now I see they have a few more.Yep mate thats one big Pot, ill take some photos when I get a chance, are they easy to put up? It has to be big because everyone pops round when I happen to be doing one. Oh and by the way I'm from Essex. Heard of it lol.
