Hello to all

I have been reading over some of the threads on this excellent site, so I thought I'd say hello.

I'm looking to find vegie recipes, as I currently live in Leicester, I am spoilt for great veggie Indian food.

I haven't noticed much south indian stuff as yet, but I prob haven't been looking hard enough.

Hi Dan  ;) I have a book with some South Indian recipes :-

  GOODHI BHAJI...
  MULLIGATAWNY SOUP...
  BAIGAN MASALEWALA (stuffed aubergines)...
  AVIYAL...
  BHAGARE BAIGAN...
  DOSA (and filling)...
  KHEER (rice pudding)
  ONION PAKORA...
  SAMOSA...
 
If anything takes your fancy let me know and I can post. All are vegetable dishes so should be suitable. There are a couple of seafood dishes too. Hope its a help..

  MUGHAL VEGETABLES...
  LOUDOU`S VEGETABLE CURRY...
  CHITCHKEE...
  MIXED VEGETABLE CURRY...
  POTATO CURRY...
  SPINACH AND POTATO CURRY...
  CAULIFLOWER KOFTAS IN TOMATO SAUCE...
  MUSHROOM BHUJIA...
  MADRAS EGG CURRY...
 
These are not from the same book so may not be South Indian.. Hope its of some use...
