On this site or elsewhere, Spadge ?  I run uBlock Origin, so never see 99.999% of advertisements.

One easy way to reduce stroke potentiall is to take 75 mg of soluble aspirin daily with food to reduce stomach ulcer effects.
I managed to give myself a tia by banging my neck to offset a painful cricked neck. Lost my sight for 20 seconds which was frightening !  Many tests later proved I was OK - but as a precaution for the future I have been prescribed clopidogrel - a better tablet for tia / stroke potential sufferers. I know a few people who have had strokes. Some recover ok - others are left in a devastating condition.

The NHS web site would appear to support Ghoulie's suggestion, but does say "Only take daily low-dose aspirin if your doctor recommends it".
