Snowdog,

Do this mean that you have worked it out?

Hi Ray,

Thank you for your help.  I uploaded the photo then I copied and paste, wrote what I wanted but the photo did not come out. So not sure what happened.

Hi Snow,

so, I take it that you used the cr0 imaging site here? http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/imagehost/

If so, what you then need to do is, upload the photo.  A series of boxes will appear with links in them, you need to click in the box entitled Direct Link.  This should then turn blue.  Right click, then press copy. Now, go to your original thread and click on the Icon that looks like a picture in a frame. IMG IMG should appear in your text.  Now, inbetween both IMG's, right click and select paste.

This should do it.  If you want to check that the upload has been successful, click on the preview button, and scroll up.  You should see a preview of what you post will look like on the forum.  If you are happy with that, then post your thread.

Hope that helps mate, if not, give us a nudge, and we'll work it out.

I'm currently attempting to do a pictorial guide for uploading images, but it's taking some time.  Hopefully, I will have it complete by this evening.  It should help, as it can be a bit confusing if you've never done it before.

All the best,

Ray

Hi Snow,

Sorry mate, I put you on a wild goose chase there.  Re-read my post.  I suggested that you should have clicked on "Embedded Link" it should actally be "Direct Link", sorry for any confusion.

Ray :)

Hi Snowdog,

Take a look at this mate http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=5333.0  It's not great, but it may make things a little clearer, fingers crossed.

Hi Cory Ander.   I hadn't seen this post before I up loaded two pictures.   I hope it doesn't cause problems.  Apologies if it does.  I noticed it's been a few years since you posted this new way of uploading photos, Has this site been updated for ease of use yet?
