G'day mate.  Where in Oz are ya?

You'll find this site a wealth of information and I even learnt to cook some great Australian curries here. ;D  Some would say that's an oxymoron from an ozymoron.  :o There are some exciting Australian Curry Secrets hidden in the bowels here somewhere if you look hard enough, but from what you indicate above you won't be searching for them.

Here you will find how to cook anything from smooth and mild to lip-blisters and memory loss, along with Chinese Roast Pork and many other surprisingly wonderful things to eat.

Enjoy your curry journey. Your hooked now matey!!!

G'day livo

I'm currently in Toowoomba at the mo so only tried curries from up here. Go into Brisbane quite a lot but haven't sampled the curries there as i'm a bit scared that its going to be the same as here and a waste of my  money. Unless you can recommend any mate.

Just spent all day cooking yesterday with recipes from this site and result where awesome mmm.

I'm not familiar with Indian in Brisbane mate. Sorry.

I'm constantly hearing that Australian curries are rubbish (I like them, and so do plenty of others) and BIR is better (I can't really say as I've never eaten a genuine one), so I'm not able to confirm nor deny these assertions.  I do know that some restaurants are better than others, and I would imagine that you will find a decent one somewhere in Brisbane.  What I will also say is that some of the curries I've cooked, using the techniques and recipes from this BIR site and others, are amazingly similar to dishes I've eaten at Australian establishments.

There was another recent new member from Brisbane. I'll see if I can find him here and provide a link. Maybe he will be of some assistance.
