I'm having a bash at cooking a staff curry tomorrow as a break from BIR, I'm liking the idea of simple boiled rice and salad. What are typical ingredients of a 'Indian Salad'?

Hi Matti,
Fine slices or grated, shredded lettuce, cucumber, onion, lemon juice and a couple of fresh slices of lemon is what comes in my indian salad. Add fine slithers of tomato or pimp it up

Hi Mattie
Simple Bangladeshi Restaurant Salad. (typical)
Diced, Tomato, Cucumber, Red Onion or Shallots, Green Chilli, Coriander, Lemon Dressing, Salt.
Mixed together and squished a bit.
This is turned into a Riatha with the addition of thick yoghurt and I sometimes add some chopped radish/mooli
and season with a pinch of black salt or chat masala.
