Struggling to get ''yellow'' base
« on: November 20, 2014, 11:13 AM »
Hi Guys...

Noticed when I seem to cook my base that it always seems to turn out to be brown rather than light yellow?  :(    >:(  Could this be due to me adding too much spice and or the can of chopped tomatoes to the base?

It seems some bases like chewy's 1 hour base use minimal spice which obviously when finished would produce a lighter base, would this be correct?

Ben

Leave out the tomato and add carrot. Have a look at my-take base.
