Hello,
I am 28 years old and I love food in general. I am British, but I live in Norway. I've always had a big taste for curries, British Indian restaurant and take-away has been my favourite, and I never did understand why why the British part in the style made a difference until I came to the continent where I found Indian restaurants to be rather bland and more like a buffet with 1 decent main option.
I worked in catering for many years, and have always made my curries from scratch. They have always been nice and people have enjoyed them, but they are completely different to BIR style, at least in my opinion, which is why I have taken a good interest now in research how to further develop my knowledge.
I have found quite a few nice recipes here on this forums and with the amount of decent, and what I can say are; knowledgeable discussions going on here, I am happy to be here! I find Cory Ander's recipes interesting, though mentioning his name around here seems blasphemous, and have tried his Jalfrezi, which was good, but I will alter it with a few touches myself next time!
Well, this is me, hope to enjoy a good recipe, discussion or laugh with you all in the future!
