Containers for Spices?
« on: April 19, 2014, 06:37 PM »
Does anyone have any good recommendations for containers/jars for spices? I usually buy big packets so the little spice jars won't work. Looking for something that's cheap, but does the job. Any ideas?

We use clicks from tesco for spices and for frozen meals, chilled meals. Just about anything!

I'll have to check these out. I probably need about 40 or so. Asda have some similar ones but they're 1 pound each and that's for the smallest ones. Ideally I want one container per packet as opposed to storing multiple packets in one container. Easier to access with the spoon too.

I "seal" my opened spice packets with clothes pegs and keep them in Family Circle biscuit tins - I have about four of them - one for spice mixes, the second for often used ground spices, e.g. cumin, coriander, the third for less used ground spices, e.g. amchoor and the last for whole spices.

James,

Try a "everything a pound" type of shop, I got good little containers that are ideal and they were a pack of 3 for
